Short Course In Multi-Grade Teaching
The Faculty of Education of the Open University of Sri Lanka, in partnership with the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) has developed a Short Course to support teachers who are teaching in Multi-grade classrooms in Sri Lankan schools.
The specific objectives of the course are:
To develop a better understanding of the challenges of multi-grade teaching,
To develop skills on the strategies appropriate for multi-grade teaching
To develop a positive attitude of teachers towards the multi-grade settings.
Seven activity-based Day School workshops will be conducted using seven modules and six interactive learning materials.
