Job Description
Develop and create drawings for interior layout changes, exterior layout changes, architectural interior drawings, building extensions, new buildings, building components, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering drawings, civil structural drawings, and architectural drawings. Maintain a library of all building, architectural, structural, and engineering service drawings, and provide updated versions of interior layouts for existing buildings using the latest AutoCAD software.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare drawings for interior layout changes after meeting with users, adhering to company standards, within the stipulated timelines.
- Prepare civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering, civil structural, and architectural drawings as requested by users within the stipulated timelines.
- Regularly update and provide interior layouts of existing buildings whenever modifications are introduced.
- Maintain a library of building architectural, structural, and service plans using a proper coding system.
- Maintain all in-house drawings, including originals and one set of copies, with an assigned identification system.
- Generate a weekly report listing completed drawings, drawings in progress, pending drawing requests, and new drawings requested within the stipulated timelines easy retrieval.
- Calculate the areas in building spaces and land spaces for costing and other related tasks.
Requirements
6 passes at GCE (O/L) including a pass for Mathematics & English with successful completion of one year full time technical course (NVQ level 5) in relevant field with 4 years relevant working experience.
OR
One year full time technical course in relevant field (NVQ level 4) with 6 years working experience in relevant trade.
Age to be not more than 40 years as at 11th February 2024 which is the closing date.
Be a SriLankan Citizen.
Employment will be offered on fixed term contract.
