We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager Business Analysis, Governance, Simplification and Streamlining Sri Lanka and Maldives.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive and provide support to the business streamlining projects in Corporate Banking Sri Lanka and Maldives
  • Drive use of available platforms to ensure that ideas are added, tracked and implemented with expediency
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to contribute to cost savings, revenue enhancement and customer experience improvements
  • Engage key stakeholders in measurement and reporting of business services metrics including costs, turnaround time, quality on key processes and products
  • Project Management, including the reporting of project costs, benefits and progress to streamlining board and other governance structures
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement and agile mind-set by providing coaching and training to different areas of the organization
  • Provide subject matter expertise on agile practices, frameworks, and how to tailor them for teams that deliver solutions to deliver better business outcomes
  • Deliver training sessions and teach valuable skills that lead toward the enterprise-wide adoption of agile, lean and other continuous improvement practices to improve the delivery of customer and business outcomes
  • Collaborate and co-ordinate with global, regional and country teams across functional boundaries, and deliver successful streamlining projects

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Project management experience ideally with PMP or Prince Certification and be qualified in Six Sigma
  • Basic business reengineering knowledge
  • Expertise in change management and implementation management techniques and approaches
  • Proven track record as an outstanding analyst, consultant and/or project manager with an overall financial services industry knowledge.
  • Strong experience of delivering change into different audience and managing implementation in banking environments
  • Effective communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills
  • Excellent decision making and problem solving ability
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders
