About HSBC – Global Service Centres

Our Global Service Centres are an integral part of Global Operations. Employees based there manage day-to-day customer transactions and processes for the global businesses. This may include transactions for our retail bank such as processing loans, credit cards, insurance and mortgage applications, opening new accounts, and managing customer enquiries through contact centres and digital platforms.

Employees in the Global Service Centres also run and manage operations for commercial bank customers. This includes processing credit applications, facilitating payments and managing the import and export transactions that enable customers to protect and grow their businesses through international trade

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Learner Experience & Engagement Manager

Principal responsibilities

  • Leading on the development of learning strategy, identification of skill gaps and learning opportunities to make a difference at business and organization level.
  • Planning the demand and execution of annual learning plan with regular stakeholder communication
  • Design learning interventions for the busy modern learner which incorporates an enriching learning experience and agreed outcomes.
  • Drive regional and global projects at a country level maximizing participation from all levels across the organization.
  • Deliver global induction program, future skills programs and briefing sessions.
  • Build a network of key internal stakeholders to create learner engagement plans.
  • Collaborate regionally and contribute to projects and initiatives within the regional L&TD team.
  • Well connected to local network of speakers and training vendors.

Requirements

  • Possess in-depth understanding of end-to-end learning principles focusing on digital learner experience and measuring impact.
  • Experienced in conducting learning needs analysis, designing L&D interventions and able to provide professional expertise and advise.
  • Able to deliver training virtually and in-person in for positive learner experience and outcomes.
  • Able to analyse data using Excel and draw insights from data to drive action along with project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present, influence and build partnerships both in and outside the organisation
  • High level of drive and accountability to ensure delivery of a broad range of deliverables.
  • Able to work collaboratively with the wider team and with minimal supervision.
