The Job
- Manage daily data ETL (extract, transform, load) function according to agreed SLAs with BUs by providing on time data availability
- Troubleshoot and recovering on Daily ETLs and provide root cause analysis and coordinating with source owners and business owners for resolving issues and escalate/liaise with relevant venders/partners for technical support
- ETL design and implementation on new source system integrations and make accurate dimensional model by studying end user analysis/report requirements
- Maintain data retention on Big data platform as per agreement with business owners
- Perform system maintenance time to time VA scans, storage management and security risk management/assessments on all BI systems
- Perform R&D on data science methodologies and check the possibilities on match them with company data sets
- Preparation and maintenance of audit documents aligned to ISMS (information surety management system) standards for BI Systems
The Person
- The candidate should possess a degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/IT/ Mathematics of Statistics from a recognized university or institute
- Basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts / Cloud Technologies / Linux Systems & Network Administration will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar capacity
- Should possess knowledge in Data modelling / analytics / Database with RDBMS / NoSQL and Big data related technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Spark, etc)
- Having hands on experience with ETL tools / Hadoop with impala, Hive and BI tools / Data warehousing will be an added advantage
- Having knowledge on database clustering technologies will also be an added advantage
