We are looking for an enthusiastic Telemarketer to generate sales either by cold calling or answering requests in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy insurance products. The goal is to promote general insurance business growth by expanding the company’s clientele.
Responsibilities :
- Call customer using a given data base to sell general insurance products
- Answer incoming calls from prospective customers and convent to a sales lead
- Facilitate cold & warm calls to prospective leads, schedule and follow through on calls with leads and current customers
- Promote specific product as directed by superiors and management
- Inform leads and customers of current promotions & discounts
Requirements and skills :
- Age 18-30
- Preference will be given to applicants with fluency in two languages Sinhala, English and fluency in Tamil language will be an added advantage
- Ability to work in shifts on roster basis
- Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role will be added advantage
- Skilled in negotiation, promoting and lead conversion
- Persistent and results-oriented
