We are looking an experienced, innovative professional with a passion in Marketing with strong business acumen to join us in leading a new business in Unilever Sri Lanka, to lead & manage all end-to-end processes related to kickstart, launch and continuous management of the new business.

Your Role & Responsibilities,

  • Delivering the business targets monthly and quarterly.
  • Reviewing business and trade marketing plans.
  • Reviewing of business partner performance.
  • Identifying new business opportunities for the new businesses.
  • Managing the Business P&L and of delivering the profitable targets.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of the 3P service operation.
  • Weekly progress monitoring of service operation.
  • Evaluating demand and supply plans.
  • Liaising with the regional teams on innovations and marketing communications.
  • Responsible for business growth strategies and brand performance.
  • Regularly review market pricing and propose changes to ensure that the brand remains competitive in the marketplace as well as maintains required.
  • Liaising with external teams – creative agency, media agency, activation agency and PR agencies on brand activities.
  • Continuously monitor progress vs plan of the agreed FP/ IOP Brand TO, volumes, RGM, Trading Contribution and market shares.
  • Lead the team in defining the Financial Plan (FP) and Internal Operating Plan (IOP) respectively.
  • 3P manpower negotiations and review – service operations
  • Responsible for strategy management such as competitor performance, operational performance, and innovations.
  • Responsible for spearheading the strategic vision across all fronts of the business.
  • He / she is responsible for the development of the business KPI infrastructure to facilitate analysis and reporting of performance against plans and budgets as well as strategic objectives.
  • Must identify and develop the new business unique selling propositions and differentiators.

What we are looking for,

  • A candidate with a degree in Business Sales or Marketing in an accredited university or college, or its equivalent.
  • With 10+ years of experience in Sales & Marketing, experience in FMCG industry will be ad added advantage.
  • Eloquence in written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to lead and to drive initiative.
  • Proficiency in capability building and executing capability.
  • Vast experience in developing ideas, products, and services with a successful track record of businesses that have been developed with expertise in making feasible plans.
  • Great negotiating experience and work and coordinate a team.
  • Ability to maintain good working relationship with partners.
  • Quick and fast decision-making ability.
