The Job Role:

The person will be responsible to oversee end-to-end management of on boarding and separation process of all employees within the organization. Manage and administer organization’s human resources information systems (HRIS) and effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities to ensure the organization’s HR data is accurate, secure and compliant with all applicable regulations.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions and ensure new hires understand the organization’s policies and procedures and about Union Assurance.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner
  • Manage the separation process for employees, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Analyze exit interview data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
  • Work with managers to identify reasons for employee departures and recommend ways to address issues.
  • Coordination of the separation process with the Finance and Payroll team and circulating the resignations with all relevant parties such as IT, Logistics and SFA in a timely manner.
  • Ensure and oversee accurate and up-to-date records of employee on-boarding and separation.
  • Manage the daily operations of the HRIS system and ensure its effective use by all users
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations are implemented effectively.
  • Manage the HRIS audit process and ensure compliance with all internal and external audit requirements
  • Lead HRIS-related projects, including system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HRIS-related projects
  • Gain competitive intelligence by staying up to date with the industry and market trends to suggest innovative ways of staying ahead of the competition and position Union Assurance as an employer of choice
  • Look for ways to enhance the employee onboarding and induction process to make it more seamless and smoother for the new hires
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, including data privacy and security regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university or institute.
  • Full/Part qualification in recognized professional institute will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 02 – 03 years in Senior Executive capacity with 8+ years overall experience.
  • Hands on experience and in-depth knowledge in overall HR processes, practices and policies and employee lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision, multi-task and work under pressure
