“As a kid, I remembering watching the amazing wildlife documentaries on Animal Planet and the Discovery Channel. I’d often wonder about the behind-the-scenes challenges and the kind of patience that was needed to film animals in the wild. That was where my passion for being out in nature really began.

My journey as a photographer has been full of adventure and discovery. When I’m in the wild, I’m in the zone. Nothing else really matters except connecting with my subjects and capturing their stories. In a way, it’s similar to yoga practice; I’m able to recalibrate and increase my internal focus when I get back to work.

At the end of the day, I’m happiest observing the beauty of nature and wildlife through my lens. Film is the most powerful tool to reach into the hearts and minds of people and inspire them to also appreciate and protect the natural world.”
